Sports Premium

The government provides additional funding for primary aged pupils to improve schools’ provision of physical education and sport.

Engaging pupils in physical and outdoor activity, whatever their ability or mobility levels, is a key priority for Peak School. Consequently these activities are planned very specifically to support the different levels of need of all the pupils at Peak School.

Peak School has been allocated the following amounts for the past few years:

2023-2024 – £16,400

2021-2022 – £16,190
2020-2021 – £16,490
2019-2020 – £14,465

This funding contributes to providing a range of weekly indoor and outdoor activities for all pupils, including:

• Canoeing
• Hiking
• Climbing
• Wheelchair abseiling
• Archery
• Dancing
• Indoor cricket
• Outdoor adventure activity
